His first pokemon is shiny Gastly, given to him by his father. The Clefairy followed him around forever and now he caught it and doesn’t care!! really!! it doesn’t make him less manly because Clefairys are badass. (I haven’t bought a new game in a while so I don’t know new pokemon, if you disagree with the choices you are probably right).
